It was a 1000 degree below zero that day so we shot almost the entire session inside Mercer museum, Doylestown, PA. Thankfully, they let us do that:) Kitee and Gregg were in Doylestown just for the Holidays. They live in Hong Kong and are not used to the freezing temperatures. Of course that day was one of the coldest:)
I love the colors winter sun gave us though! No Photoshop was used on any of the pictures whatsoever.
Make sure you watch the slideshow in Fullscreen HD:)
Who are the boldest and most fearless photographers in the world? Well, apparently I am one of them:) Just couple of days ago I learn that I won 3 awards from Fearless Photographers!!! What Fearless Photographers is?! It’s a website where photographers from all over the world compete every 3 months or so with their most creative work. That was the first time for me to participate and I’m very happy to share the great honor with you!!!
Here is what the curators say: “Photographers don’t pay to put their images on this unique directory. Instead, they submit their most innovative work to be selected by our internationally-renowned curators. Only the best of the best – the top 10% of all submitted images – are shown.
Thank you, Fearless Photographers! I can’t wait for the next Round!
4 of my photographs are selected for the final exhibition of the prestigious International Photographic Salon Varna 2010!!! Needless to say how happy I am to see my pictures next to the other great work! The exhibition will travel several Bulgarian cities and then the photographs will be printed into the Catalog 2010. Can’t wait to get one:))) If you want to see some stunning images please, visit the site and click Final Selection
Here are my winning images!
Here is one more zoom-able picture that I took for Funico Studios – NY. Thank you guys, for letting me use it on my blog!
This one is 8×10” crop so it’s only 7.2 Mega Pixels but still maintains tons of detail thanks to – AF DC-NIKKOR 135mm f/2D .
This glass was introduced back in 1995. May be discontinued, it always be a legendary portrait lens thanks to it’s Defocus Image Control allowing for control of the degree of focus in the foreground or background.
Pic spec:
Nikon D700, f/4, 1/160 s, ISO – 200, RAW converter – Capture One 4, Skin retouch and overall enhancements – Photoshop
Zoom-able photos to give you a better idea about the quality of Nikon cameras and lenses I use. All pictures are taken with Nikon D700 + lenses from 17 mm to 200mm. Please, click on the thumbnail then press the button on right to enter Full Screen Mode. Use your mouse to navigate.
Enjoy and write a comment!!!
